It looks like boredom had driven me back to what I used to do during my free time, which is playing around with Adobe PS. I think this is a good thing. Somehow, I think it's funny when I looked thru my past creations, which were amateurish. At the time when I finish those old creations, I actually thought that they looked nice.

It's a far cry from what I'm doing now so as long as you have the patience and are willing to learn, nothing is impossible. I picked up my PS skills through online tutorial. Last time I hated PS, cos it's so unfriendly and mean to me, but now , it is a different story.

I don't fancy Ayumi but since her pictures provided by Exonerated blends are nice and of a high quality, might as well give it a shot. Following up is the anime that is still in my good books, just can't get enough of them. One more icon of another character will make those avatars a set, but I can't seemed to find nice pics.

Looking forward to Friday cos' I finally meeting up with Pei Quan, just hoping that time hasn't driven a wedge between the both of us. It's time for some serious catching up and stuff. Would probably visit Yiting's house sometime next week lol...

To Serena: If you're free and want to go her house too, you can give me a ring.=)

Next Friday, I'm going back to school (most probably) for Dunman's Speech and Prize-Giving Day. Luckily Joanne's mother called and asked if casual wear is allowed, if not I think half of its ex-students going to Poly won't turn up.

Tata! That's all I think. =)

Spent so much money today and what's left in my wallet is a few pennies and the usual cards, nothing else. But it was so shiok to go on a shopping spree. I bought a backpack for $31.90(after 20% discount), a whole set of puzzle (including glue and frame) at $13.40, which was like so cheap.

The 1000 piece puzzle is like only $2.90 per box and what's more? It features my favorite Saiyuki Boys. I'll take a photo after I complete it. My sis is currently doing hers when I'm typing here. The frame is $8 and the glue is like $2.50. So now, I've got something to while my time away.

Besides those things, I also spent another $21 on medical checkup and chest X-ray. Woke up quite late today but surprisingly, the pace of the whole checkup was rather fast, so it was good. Good thing is that I nv put on any weight in the 3 months at home, which I would normally do. The worst part of the whole checkup was the urine taking part, so yucky. And you practically *ahem* squeeze your urine even though you don't have any. Which was like so.... damn.

Then the X-ray thing you got to put on is like so awkward. You have to be naked and you have to wear the robes and it's making me feel so insecure about the whole thing. Luckily, the whole process passed in a blinking of the eye. Was then examined by the female doctor, who looked a lil hysteric because of her messy hair lol...

The people at Raffles Medical Group are like so friendly and efficient, so kudos to them for that. The clinic is nice too!

That's all! I'm off to finishing the puzzle!

Today is super-duper tiring, my legs are throbbing right now. You see, my legs aren't accustomed to long and restless walks. But then again, it could be probably the idoitic shoes. I should have bought a pair. The shoes are just downright uncomfortable.

If I were to say that the day was totally tiring, then I would be doing injustice. On the whole, it was one fulfilling day where I finally went out with those people whom I normally hang out with in my secondary school life. Heehee... Miss them all, a lot in fact. =)

Went back to school in the mid-noon for a very mini 'celebration' with all those pizzas and fried chicken. I was pretty surprised when Mr Lee ordered Pizza Hut. I thought he would buy Canadian 2-For-1 pizza which is on the more economical side. Haha...guess that he spent a lot today lol...

Caught up with my friends, just the three of us, talking (or rather listening for me and Melissa) while we ate. Huiying was particularly pissed off with her current *ahem*ny*ahem* JC and she really did complain to us on those unjust things that occured to her. Poor thing. She even relate all these stuff to the Lee lol...

Talked a little with Lee too and the thing he asked us was, "Why go to poly with those results of ours?" Never really replied him thou but he did say if we really want to go to Poly, we need to stay at the top so that we can go U becos' diplomas are getting more and more common. Yeah, I will try, really.

Took pictures with the girls and yep, a lot of funny ones haha... After leaving school, the three of us went to watch movie [Nanny McPhee]. The nanny was the coolest nanny on earth, not her appearance, just her attitude. It was rather heartwarming show but not highly recommended for a watch. The ending was abrupt, I tell you.

Okay...ending here...gotta rest my legs (still throbbing)...Ciao!

Looking thru' the previous posts, I realised that I hadn't really blogged about where I'm posted to via the JAE thingy. Yeah, as expected, I was posted to the biotech course in TP lah. First choice leh... hehe...

Looks like a couple of my friends are posted to TP too but too bad, they are in different courses as me. Melissa was posted to a design course and Yvonne was posted to a business course.

Looks like Melissa and I are continuing our fate as schoolmates lol... Cool, have been in the same class, same house with her since the last four years and moreover, our index numbers are just next to each other. Haha...

I watched the Oscar Awards in the morning yesterday and I was not really paying attention throughout the whole award presentation because out of every ten actors/actresses, I don't know 9 of them! But then again, I think it was an honour that Ang Lee actually won the award for the best director. The first-ever Asian to be crowned with such tremendous honour!

As an Asian, it makes me kinda proud too, even though I didn't watch the film because of the age limit the film board had instilled.

Currently, I'm obsessed in making icons (or avatars, whatever) with Photoshop. My passion for Adobe PS has re-ignited again! So miraculously! Also trying to learn HTML right now but then, HTML isn't really that easy.

Will probably set up a tutorial page teaching the basics of PS, yeah, just the basics, cos' I'm not really and expert and I don't PRETEND. The tutorial page will take some time, I reckon, cos tutorials are really difficult to write. Anybody interested?

Oh well...

No more English! No more humanities! No more PE!

I need a pair of shoes, some new shirts, a new bag (sling/back) *counting off my fingers* and some quality story books. My mum is going to pay for the shoes and the bag will be on my pocket, together with the books. As for the shirts, I don't really need them thou cos' I reckoned the few shirts in my wardrobe would be enough.

I'm going to poly to study aren't me? So, a few pieces would suffice as long as I don't wear the same shirt for twice in a week lol... I'm not going poly to showcase my pathetic wardrobe, just study. Yeah...

Hope to meet some nice people in TP lah... Just hope that they can put up with my occasional loosening of the screw and my laugh, which some people labeled as 'contagious'. Actually, I kinda miss Dunman and the studying periods. Hmm...

Oh almost to forget to mention it...This is a new layout, a particularly dark one. Strangely, I never really like those soft-coloured skins. I have a soft spot for angsty stuff but I wouldn't consider myself as sadist. I'm still the optimistic me in real life. Oh yah, I'm feeling so much better since my previous post.

My sis is at home nowadays (she just graduated) so I won't feel that bored and I actually went out to the nearby shopping centers for a stroll and some window shopping. I realised the world is still colourful out there. Besides, that day when I watched a show which reported a little girl who has to take 40++ different kind of medicines to survive, I finally realised that my problem is just sooo tiny when compared to hers.

At least I'm still healthy and it is still within my ability to fulfill certain dreams of mine. So, I wouldn't really complain about life now. I'm still a happy being! =)

In the end, nothing had really changed. What had changed was just my new perspective on life. I'm just all along getting stronger without knowing it myself.

Thought of the Month

That day Grandma asked me about one of my long-time best friend and she was shocked that I haven't contacted her for eons. "Every relationship has an expiry date. It's just a matter of time," I thought but didn't voice it aloud.
