My Dad told me that there was one time where he was at the MRT station, he heard someone singing. He approached this particular person and dropped in 10 bucks into his money box. Guess who this guy is? Wei Lian of course.

Well... Quite satisfied that he could advance to the next round and I'll be looking forward to his performance on 3/8. However, there's one big mistake S'poreans had made - Jason was voted in. I wasn't angry with him but there are just some people who support his 'talent'. He may be a good singer, but there are just others better than him.

Okay, back to today. Today was our racial harmony celebration and bazaar. Not exactly fun and it was made worse by the ethnic costume which Mdm. Z had lent me. However, there were a few ladies who looked stunning in their costumes. Then there was this president's election(SC) speech made by the nominees and yea, there was one of them who was particularly desperate to get the position but I didn't vote for her.

The bazaar was all in all fine. Bought a medium-sized box of 'GUYLIAN' chocolates(you know, those seashells shape one...) Haven't taste it yet of course. The Bio Remedial was beneficial to me so I shan't grumble much about it.

I was quite pissed by one of my acquaintence's attitude. He's so selfish and I was so pissed off that it was impossible to prevent disgust from erupting within me. I was already trying to get enough (something) for them yet when he had this opportunity to get it for me, he refused to. What the heck kind of attitude is this? Self-Centered guy!

And then to make things worse, there was this person who was getting really irritating and I just can't be bothered to take the initiative to speak to her. Pathetic. For now, I think it's better to keep myself to a couple of friends rather than a whole big group of them. I need some time to think through these things before I talk freely to them again.

Is the world changing or is it me?

It's just another week crammed with tests.

I no longer do well to impress the others. But I'm doing well to convince myself that I will be doing well for the upcoming prelims.

I don't wanna care about comparing results with them.

Yep. That should be it.

Do I want to be hardworking or smart? I had no idea.

Similar to Singapore Idol, Project Superstar is creating hype among the Chinese audience. It's almost the same to the former: Young Girls chasing contestants with looks, discussions in the official fourm, disputes between fans and inevitably, the slamming of the contestants. However, it was this show that I realized that there are actually people equipped with the most evil words swarming in the forum.

They complained about contestants with only looks getting in onto the next round. They complained about the drastic difference in attitude the contestants portrayed on and off cameras. Then, they chose to hand-pick on the guy who is visually handicapped when he managed to got into the semi-finals.

They called him "Blind Man", complained that he is plain ugly to look at but HELLO... this is a competition about voice and not beauty. Honestly, he don't have the best voice in the competition but he don't have the worse voice either. Doesn't mean that he is blind that we can take away the chance for him to shine on stage, by saying words to lower his morale.

Fans defend their idol no matter how many mistakes the contestants made on stage. Just look at Sly, his performance was at the bottom of the pit during the final 3 but he still got in! It wasn't his fault that he got in. It was his fans that voted him in. Now, I look back and regret about the sarcastic remarks I made of the contestants. That wasn't nice AT ALL.

So, Wei Lian got in because people who appreciated him voted for him, or other might say sympathy votes. Don't whine when your favourite contestant got booted out. Just blame yourself for not voting hard enough. No use spraying the contestants with acidic saliva, because that wouldn't change what had happened.

By the way, did I mention that the volume of fan shouting doesn't tally with the amount of votes? For example, just look at the difference between Taufik and Sly fans, and you'll know what I'm saying.

Confessions of the Crazy Teenager:

1. I hate bathing, especially washing my hair. It's just so troublesome.

2.When you are feeling down, don't come looking for me. I'm really a gone case at consoling people.

3. I know I sucks at explaining, even when people often nod their head when I am explaining.

4. Fans who over-defend their idols just get me on my nerves.

5. My pride has always been my first priority, which I never knew why.

6. I'm fat, I'm overweight. I still have 27kg more to LOSE before I reach the acceptable range. That's a lot, isn't it?

7. I'm a Harry Potter Freak. I'm always tempted to buy even the most expensive HP stuff.

8. I abhor Leow Choon Kiat. Enough said.

9. I've been failing my 2.4km this year. I want to give up, but the teacher don't let me.

10. The adobe photoshop 7.0 I had is pirated. Buying the original one would only burn a hole in my pocket.

There was this lunch time promotion at Han River, a restaurant which is very similar to Seoul Garden but definitely cheaper, which only demand us of $10.80++ per person. However, Melissa and I ended paying $15.00 each. Know what? I never knew that the '++' sign can affect the original price so much.

It cost us $3 for the tea towel, which we didn't even use, and the tea, which was awful. Ah... nonetheless, the food was delicious lah. The thin slices of beef on the hotplate was sizzling and adsolutely delicious. I wasn't that full after three servings but then, the dessert I made really fill me up. That's how I got really bloated.

After the meal, we went back to Tampines and caught the movie, "War of the Worlds". We, pathetically got the second row due to our last minute decision to watch it. However, there was this guy who got separated from his friends in the front row and yep, I thought that my seat wasn't that bad after all.

The show was really exciting. It depicted the sheer desperation and terror of human beings when they were attacked by the Martians. As usual, there were heroes, and there were cowards. How did the Martians got eliminated? Watch the show yourself.

Then, I got home and sat in front of the computer, blogging. (^^,)

Yesterday's Chinese Oral kind of went out of track for me, mind you, it's O'Levels. The conversation on the terrorist's attack and diseases was like so damn difficult to elaborate and I just said whatever that came into my mind but it was a miracle that I didn't stutter.

The other conversation was pretty okay. Just asked about who you will turn to when you are in times of trouble. Then I answered as reasonably as I could.

Today, I was supposed to go back to school for A Maths, but I've decided to skip it. I'm feeling so lethargic and this teacher is seriously 'cruel'. For the past 2 days when we were having her lessons, she would 'persuade' us to do more examples when our brains are already like over-soaked sponges. You know, sometimes it is just impossible for you to absorb in anymore formulae.

Then yesterday there was this Youth Day celebration and Mdm Zalinah baked us some cookies, not bad actually. The our Geography teacher gave us rulers and then there's the usual souvenirs.

But, the performance by the teachers was lagging far behind. It was bad, not as interesting as those previous years. Nonetheless, I still appreciate their effort lah.

Okay, let me touch a little on Project Superstar.

Sugi. Darryl. Jiaxin. Candy.

William. Raymond. Sandra. Wendy.

They are officially out of the competition. But why can't it be Sebastian? Guess that it is like the way how Sylvester survived in Singapore Idol.

The next round is happening again on Wed and Thursday's nights.

Who are the first eight competing for a place in the semi?

Junyang. Leon. Jason. Derrick.

Kelly. Sin Huei. Li Jun. Ruth.

Okay. That's all. A long blog entry.

Last but not least, a new piece from me.

Thought of the Month

That day Grandma asked me about one of my long-time best friend and she was shocked that I haven't contacted her for eons. "Every relationship has an expiry date. It's just a matter of time," I thought but didn't voice it aloud.
